【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesthesafetyandhygienerequirementsforthedesignandmanufactureofvegetablecuttingmachineswhicharetransportableandhaveamaximumratedpowerlessthan3kW.Itdoesnotapplytodomesticmachines.Itapplieswhensuchmachinesareusedtooperateundertheintendedconditionsofuseasdefinedin3.12ofEN292-1:1991,andstatedintheinstructionhandbook(see7.1),includingcleaning,removalofjammedfood,feedingandchangingthecuttingdevice.NOTEIfthemachineisnotusedundertheaboveconditions,themanufacturershould,wheninformedofsuchasituation,checkbyanewriskanalysisthatthepreventivemeasuresremainvalid.Alltypesofvegetablecuttingmachinesarecontainedwithinthescopeofthisstandardincludingallmachinescarryingoutthefunctionofcutting,shredding,dicing,chippingandgratingfoodproductsaccordingtothespecificationofthemanufacturerwhateverthecuttingmotion.Inparticular,thisstandardcoversthosevegetablecuttingmachinesconsistingofachamberinwhichaknifeorcuttingdiscrotates,machinesofrotatingdrumtypeinwhichthecuttingisdonebyfixedknivesandpotatochippingmachineswithahorizontalreciprocatingmotion.Itappliestoallsuchmachinesinwhichtheproductpassesthroughthemachines.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverthosemachinessuchasfoodprocessorsorpeelerswhicharecoveredbyspecificstandards.Thehazardsofautomaticfeedingdevicesarenotcoveredbythisstandard.Thisstandardexcludesvegetablecuttingattachmentswhicharemountedontomachineshavinganauxiliarydrivehubsuchasplanetarymixers,andwhicharedealtwithinaspecificstandard.Itcoversallsignificanthazardsofsuchmachines,asidentifiedbyriskassessment(seeEN1050),whicharelistedinclause4ofthisstandard.Noisecanbeasignificanthazardforsomelargemachines.Atthepresenttime,thereisinsufficientinformationaboutemissionvaluesandnoiseattenuationmeasurestoenableanachievablenoiseemissionleveltobesetnorrequirementspecified.InthemeantimenoisemeasurementsshallbemadeaccordingtoannexAandinformationgiventousersandwherethenoiseissignificantmakershavetocomplywithDirectiverequirementstoreducenoiseemissionasfaraspossible.Thisstandarddoesnotdealwiththehazardofvibrations.Thisstandardappliesprimarilytomachineswhicharemanufacturedafteritsdateofissue.
