【摘要】:Hand-heldmetersprovidearapidmeansofsamplingmoisturecontentofwood-basedmaterialsduringandafterprocessingtomaintainqualityassuranceandcompliancewithstandards.However,thesemeasurementsareinferential;thatis,electricalparametersaremeasuredandcomparedagainstacalibrationtoobtainanindirectmeasureofmoisturecontent.Theelectricalmeasurementsareinfluencedbyactualmoisturecontent,anumberofotherwoodvariables,environmentalconditions,geometryofthemeasuringprobecircuitry,anddesignofthemeter.Themaximumaccuracycanonlybeobtainedbyanawarenessoftheeffectofeachparameteronthemeteroutputandcorrectionofreadingsasspecifiedbythesetestmethods.AppendixX1isacommentarythatprovidesexplanationofthemandatorysectionsanddiscussionofhistoricalpractices.AppendixX2addressestheinfluenceofprocessandwoodvariables.Thispracticeprovidesforcalibrationandapplicationofwoodproductsthatcontaincommercialcharacteristicsandthatreflectthemanufacturingenvironment.Mostusesofhand-heldmoisturemetersemploycorrelative(predictive)relationshipsbetweenthemeterreadingandwoodareasorvolumesthatexceedthatofthedirectmetermeasurement(forexample,largerspecimens,piecesoflumber,lots).Thefieldcalibrationsectionofthispracticeanticipatesthepotentialneedforthistypeofsampling.ThesecorrelativeusesareexaminedinAppendixX3.1.1Thispracticeappliestothemeasurementofmoisturecontentofsolidwood,includingsolidwoodproductscontainingadditives,thatis,chemicalsoradhesives,byhand-heldmoisturemetersunderconditionsofend-use.1.1.1Thispracticeincludescalibration,use,andinterpretationofmetersforconditionsthatrelatetowoodproductcharacteristics,suchasnonuniformgrainandgrowthringorientation,andtoend-useprocessconditions,suchasmoisturegradients.1.1.2Metersemployingdifferingtechnologiesmaynotprovideequivalentreadingsunderthesameconditions.Whenthispracticehasbeenapplied,itisassumedthatthereferencedmeterisacceptableunlessotherwisespecified.MetersshallhavebeencalibratedbyTestMethodsD4444.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

适用范围
本标准规定用于按位串行的起止式和同步式数据传输系统的字符结构。这种数据传输系统使用七单位编码字符集、八单位编码字符集和对这两种编码字符集的扩充。上述三种字符集分别是GB 1988（ISO 646）、ISO 4873和GB 2311（ISO 2022）的课题。本标准还规定了使用七单位编码字符集的奇偶检验特性。本标准适用于CCITT和IEC/ISO制定的经过数据终端设备（DTE）和数据电路终接设备（DCE）间的接口面进行的信息传送。DTE和DCE在有关CCITT的V和X系列建议中定义。
