【摘要】:Vanadiumcanbefoundinwastethatresultfromchemicalcleaningofcomponentsinwhichthemetalisalloyed.NationalPollutantDischargeEliminationSystemspermitsorotherstandards,orboth,requiremonitoringpollutantsinwastedischargedontothewatershedof,orinto,navigablewaters,andthosedisposedofinsuchamannerthateventualcontaminationofundergroundwatercouldresult.Thistestmethodaffordsanaccurateandsensitivemeansofdeterminingcomplianceornoncompliance,orboth,withthosepermits.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofdissolvedandtotalrecoverablevanadiuminmostwatersandwastewaterbygraphitefurnaceatomicabsorptionspectrophotometry.1.2Theoptimumrangeofthistestmethodis10to200956;g/Lofvanadiumbasedona20-Lsamplesize.Concentrationshigherthan200g/Lmaybedeterminedbyproperdilutionofsample.Adetectionlevelaslowas4956;g/Lofvanadiumhasbeenreported.1.3Thistestmethodhasbeenusedsuccessfullywithreagentwater,lakewater,tapwater,riverwater,condensatefromamediumBtucoalgasificationprocess,andwellwater.Itistheuser''sresponsibilitytoensurethevalidityofthistestmethodforwatersofuntestedmatrices.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityorregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4FormerTestMethodA(Catalytic)wasdiscontinued.RefertoAppendixX1forhistoricalinformation.
