【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthechemicalanalysesofhydrauliccements.Anytestmethodsofdemonstratedacceptableprecisionandbiasmaybeusedforanalysisofhydrauliccements,includinganalysesforrefereeandcertificationpurposes,asexplainedinSection3.Specificchemicaltestmethodsareprovidedforeaseofreferenceforthosedesiringtousethem.TheyaregroupedasReferenceTestMethodsandAlternativeTestMethods.Thereferencetestmethodsarelongacceptedclassicalchemicaltestmethodswhichprovideareasonablywell-integratedbasicschemeofanalysisforhydrauliccements.Thealternativetestmethodsgenerallyprovideindividualdeterminationofspecificanalytesandmaybeusedaloneorasalternatesanddeterminationswithinthebasicschemeattheoptionoftheanalystandasindicatedintheindividualmethod.

【摘要】:1.1Thesetestsareintendedtodeterminethefireresistanceofgreaseductenclosureassemblies.Theserequirementslimitthecombustibility,thesurfaceflammability,andthesmokegenerationpotentialofthecoveringsusedtoenclosethegreaseduct.Inaddition,theserequirementsevaluatetheeffectivenessofthecombinationofthegreaseductandtheenclosureasafireratedenclosuresystemandthroughpenetrationfirestopsystem,aswellastheenclosure''seffectonthegreaseduct.1.2Thefireenduranceratingsforgreaseductenclosureassembliesareintendedtoregisterperformanceduringtheperiodoffireexposureandarenotintendedtobeinterpretedashavingdeterminedtheacceptabilityofthegreaseductassemblyforusebeforeorafterfireexposure.Theintentofthesemethodsistodevelopdatatoassistothersindeterminingthesuitabilityofthegreaseductassemblywherefireresistanceisrequired.1.3Theserequirementsareintendedtoevaluatetheabilityofgreaseductenclosureassembliesspecifiedin1.1tocontainaninternalfireorrepelanexternalfireduringpredeterminedtestexposures.Thetestevaluatesthegreaseductassembly'sresistancetofire,heat,andtoahosestream.1.4RequirementscoveringtheconstructionandperformancerequirementsofproprietarygreaseductsarecontainedintheStandardforGreaseDucts,UL1978.Allducts,bothproprietaryandnon-proprietary,shallcomplywithinstallationrequirementsoftheStandardforVentilationControlandFireProtectionofCommercialCookingOperations,NFPA96,andtheInternationalMechanicalCode.1.5Undertheserequirementsagreaseductenclosureassemblyissubjectedtostandardinternalandexternalfireexposurescontrolledtoachievespecifiedtemperaturesthroughoutaspecifiedtimeperiod.1.6Duringtheinternalfireexposure,oneoftwoinstallationconditionmethodsistobeselectedtomeasuretemperaturesnearoronthesurfaceofthegreaseductenclosurematerialawayfromthegreaseduct.Onemethodoftemperaturemeasurementisintendedforallinstallationsexceptforinstallationswithinnon-ventilatedcombustibleenclosures.Thesecondmethodoftemperaturemeasurementisintendedforinstallationswithinnon-ventilatedcombustibleenclosures.1.7Theseexposuresbythemselvesarenotintendedtoberepresentativeofallfireconditions;conditionsvarywithchangesintheamount,nature,anddistributionoffireloading,ventilation,compartmentsizeandconfiguration,andheatsinkcharacteristicsofthecompartment.1.8Theserequirementscoverthemeasurementofthetransmissionofheatthroughthegreaseductassemblyandthepassageofheatandgaseshotenoughtoignitecottonwaste.1.9Theserequirementsprovidearelativemeasureoffireperformanceunderthesespecifiedfireexposureconditions.Anyvariationfromtheconstructionorconditionsthataretested,suchasmethodofassemblyandmaterials,isnotwithinthescopeofthistestmethod.1.10Theresultsofthesetestsrepresentonefactorinassessingfireperformanceofgreaseductassemblies.Theserequirementsprescribestandardfireexposuresforassessingtheperformanceofgreaseductassemblies.Applicationofthesetestresultstopredicttheperformanceofactualbuildingconstructionrequirescarefulevaluationoftestdata.
